With the OnePlus 7 Pro, OnePlus had a knock-out smartphone on their hands—a device with class-leading features that could outcompete Apple and Samsung’s offerings.
There was only one problem: OnePlus needed to create a product launch for fans around the world, using rich storytelling to message complex, first-to-market features for tech enthusiasts, journalists covering the event, and casual online viewers.
I was tasked with delivering a complete keynote experience, overseeing every detail from writing the script and determining the product story to managing the keynote creative and briefing production agencies—all within 60 days from ideation to execution.
The OnePlus 7 Pro launch was the company's most ambitious to date, with simultaneous launch events taking place in New York, London, and Bangladesh. In total, the livestreams tallied over 13.4 million views across YouTube and Twitter, with over 9.3 million views for the New York City livestream alone.
